Each May, the Village of Pleasantville hosts "Pleasantville Day". A day which provides another opportunity for residents of all ages to come together and enjoy a day of fun and celebration in our lovely town. Join us for a 1 Mile Fun Run or 5K! The 5K and 1 Mile help raise money for the Community Scholarship Fund of Pleasantville.

Registration tables will be set up on Washington Avenue across from the Fire House
7:00 AM: Event day registration and t-shirt distribution

8:00 AM: National Anthem performed by Pleasantville High School Chorus
8:15 AM: Family Fun Run
9:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk

The 1 Mile Fun Run brings out adults and kids who want to do a short distance run Everyone enjoys the 1 mile Fun Run. The course takes participants winding up from Washington Avenue to Manville Road, then onto Great Oak Lane and finishing up on Washington Avenue.

The starting line is on the corner of Washington Avenue and Edgewood Avenue. All runners will have chip-timed running bib. Prizes are awarded to top finishers in age group categories.

Pleasantville Community Scholarship Fund Mission Statement
The Pleasantville Community Scholarship Fund, is a 501c3 nonprofit all-volunteer organization that fundraises and provides scholarship awards annually to high school seniors in Pleasantville. Every dollar raised above the modest operating and fundraising costs are provided to award recipients. All Pleasantville residents, including students from the public Pleasantville High School and private high schools, are eligible to apply for scholarships. The awards are intended to help offset the high costs of education and professional training. Scholarship awards are based on financial need, academic accomplishments, community service and extracurricular activities.
